President's Message

Dear Student,

Greetings from  Maldives Business School!

Maldives Business School began as Malé Business School in 2010. We became a college in 2013 as the high quality of our education was recognized, and we acquired our present name, Maldives Business School.

Excellence is at the heart of our education.

Excellence is at the heart of our education. We aspire to it. We hustle for it. It is ingrained in the very fabric of Maldives Business School. We gave our steadfast commitment to the pursuit of excellence when we began our first program over twelve years ago. And we do the same today.

As part of that commitment, we persistently strive to inspire in our students a passion for the acquisition of knowledge and the attainment of high grades. We nurture their intellectual curiosity, critical thinking, and creativity. We promote discovery. We cultivate high standards and academic integrity.

Excellence is not just a value we hold dear. We practice it. It is evident in the high quality of our curricula, the extensive online resources we give, the high standards of assessment we maintain, the engaging teaching we deliver, and the real-life projects we get our students to do. As we move forward, we intend to stick to that commitment!

Students first! We genuinely care about our students.

At Maldives Business School, we put “students first” in everything we do. We genuinely care about our students!

We not only preach it; we actually practice it! When students miss classes, we call them. Every day! We listen to them. We counsel them. We encourage them. We teach, we tutor, we guide. Day in and day out. No canceled classes, or very few. We send students on tours, even international ones. We make it easy and convenient for students to access our extensive academic resources and their academic records, 24/7. We give them multiple opportunities to get their assessments right. We hand-hold at-risk students.

And, as we continue into the future, we make it our mission to put our students first and give them an excellent education. We make it our solemn duty to always act in the best interests of our students! After all, that’s what we are here for!

With love,

Adam Saeed Umar,
President
