FACULTY SELECTION POLICY

 

This policy exists to enable the school to employ staff in providing its services.

Policy statement: In order to adequately meet its obligations to its students and comply with government regulations, the school President must hire qualified faculty. They will be a mix of full-time and part-time staff that sufficient but lean. The proportion of full-time faculty should be 25%.

Certificate Level 4
  • Prior experience in teaching (preferred).
  • Minimum Qualification: Associate degree/Bachelors in respective area of teaching.
Level 5 (Diploma)
  • Prior experience in teaching (preferred).
  • Minimum Qualification: Associate degree/Bachelors in respective area of teaching.
Level 6 (Associate Degree)
  • Prior experience in teaching (preferred).
  • Minimum Qualification: Bachelors/Master’s in respective area of teaching.
Level 7 (Bachelor’s Degree)
  • Prior experience in teaching (preferred).
  • Minimum Qualification: Bachelors/Master’s in respective area of teaching.
Level 8 (Postgraduate Diploma)
  • Prior experience in teaching (preferred).
  • Minimum Qualification: Master’s/PhD. in respective area of teaching.
Level 9 (Master’s Degree)
  • Two years’ prior experience in teaching (preferred).
  • Minimum Qualification: PhD or Master’s (with one year’s experience) in respective area of teaching.
