Announcement Regarding Changes to the Semestrial System

This is to inform you that as per the new regulations set forth by the Maldives Qualification Authority (2022/G-6) all higher education providers must conduct their programs in a semestrial system. This requires us to discontinue our modular-based classes and conduct two semesters in a year, with intakes starting in the months of January and June.

Each semester will have four modules and classes will be conducted concurrently for all four modules. The duration of a semester will be 15 weeks and exams will be conducted at the end of each semester. Prior to the exams, you will be given a break of one week for revision. In addition to that, you will be given a break after completion of the exams each semester.

Note: The semestrial changes only apply for Certificate level 4, Diploma, Associates degree, Bachelor’s degree, and Master’s students.
