RE-REGISTRATION POLICY
Objective: This policy outlines the conditions for students who wish to resume their course after a period of inactivity of one semester or longer without formally notifying the college or whose deferment has been not approved.
Resuming the Course: Students who wish to continue their program or resume their studies should take note of the following:
If the student has been inactive for more than one semester (without approval of deferment), a re-registration fee of MVR 2,500 is required for re-register in the registered course.
- Note: This policy applies to all courses and all students (excluding deferred students).
- The re-registration fee is non-refundable.
- The period of inactivity is counted as one semester, starting from the date of the student’s last attended regular class or the date of submission of their last assignment or exam.
- If a student does not complete the enrolled course within the maximum duration allowed, they are required to restart the course again and all the previous submissions and results will be nullified. Please refer to the table below for the maximum duration allowed to complete the course.

Note: All redo attempts of assignments and examinations, module retakes and supervision classes will be accommodated subject to the student completing the respective course within the maximum duration allowed to complete the course as indicated in the table above.
Once the payment is confirmed, regardless of the outcome of the student’s decision to resume their studies or discontinue enrollment after paying the fee, the transaction is considered final and non-refundable.
