An Exemption is official permission from an educational institution that allows a student to skip a specific year of a course or module, granted when they have already passed an equivalent course elsewhere.

*Content Match
The prior course syllabus must overlap with the exempted course by at least 75% to qualify.

*Module & Credit Limits
Up to 1/3 of the total modules within a year can be exempted on a modular basis. If applying for a full year exemption, the entire year may be exempted provided the prior qualification meets the required syllabus similarity threshold.
