RE-REGISTRATION POLICY
Objective: This policy outlines the conditions for students who wish to resume their course after a period of inactivity of 1 year or longer without formally notifying the college.
Resuming the Course: Students who wish to continue their course or resume their studies should take note of the following:
- If the student has been inactive for more than a year, a re-registration fee of MVR 1,500 is required for enrollment in the registered course,
- Note: This applies to all courses (excluding deferred students).
- The period of inactivity is counted as 1 year starting from the date of the student’s last attended class or the date of submission of their last assignment.
- If a student does not complete the enrolled course within the maximum duration allowed, they are required to start the course again. (This Includes the duration of deferment). Please refer to the table below for the maximum duration allowed to complete the course.
- The Re-registration fee is non-refundable.
Once the payment is confirmed, regardless of the outcome of the student’s decision to resume their studies or discontinue enrollment after paying the fee.
